When is the best time to visit Bhutan?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most popular seasons — clear skies, comfortable daytime temperatures and the biggest festivals. Winter is quiet and cold but very clear; summer brings monsoon rain and green valleys. Tell us what matters most to you and we will suggest the right window.
How do I get to Bhutan from Bangladesh or India?
There are direct flights into Paro from Dhaka and Kolkata. Travellers from West Bengal often come overland instead, crossing at Phuentsholing from Jaigaon near Siliguri. We will advise which route suits your dates and budget, and build it into your itinerary.
What entry documents do I need?

What is the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)?
The SDF is a per-night levy set by the Government of Bhutan, and the rate depends on your nationality. What is included in your packages?
Regional packages include meals, 3–4 star hotel accommodation, airport pickup and drop, transport for all sightseeing, and a professional guide. Airfare, visa and SDF fees, and entry fees are not included. International packages include accommodation, transport, a professional guide, entry fees and SDF/visa support, but not airfare.
